The Baboon House & Calanthe Art Cafe

Throw back to the day of Jonker Street.
I think for those who is looking for something different something get-out of the city, should come to Malacca and visit the Baboon house and The Calanthe Cafe.

1st Place : Baboon House
Address : Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, 75200 China Town, Melaka, Malaysia.Opening House : 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

p.s : Actually we're not allow to take photo on the artworks and the surrounding, so I had only take a few photos of the food and the environment.

It was around 1.30 p.m.Friday.
weather was so warm , still I can see a lot of tourists around Jonker street and even they have treasure hunt in Jonker Street, so crowded. Which was different from the city, we don't see KTM, Monorail, tall buildings.
What we have in Jonker Streets are the houses that are classic, narrow streets, good tradisional decoration.

and Next,
We came to Baboon house for our lunch.

It was almost full and we were seated at the corner of the house. But it was still fine, the environment is comfortable and you will see a lot of painting on the walls.

For designs students or the painters, You guys should come over and have a look on the artworks.

At the front part of the Baboon House, there is an Artist, he has all his artworks, drawings and paintings hanging around the walls, he is thin, with shaved hair and tattoo on his shoulder. We were not allowed to take photo of his works, so i think you should just come over and have a look by yourself =)

And Ya, we were sitting at the corner.

Very nice garden? this is the typical and special of the housing designed from the last time. we will no longer have this kind of house anymore. They even decorated the surrounding with some plants , one words to describe " comfortable.

Baboon Special : ALOHA CHEESEBURGER
RM18.90
CoConut RM 6.00

Baboon Special : BABOON GREEN SALAD
-Pork bacon & Chicken popcorn RM13.50
-Feta Cheese RM16.00
Moroccan Mint tea : RM 4.90

Feedback for the food :
 Baboon Special :
ALOHA CHEESEBURGER - The beef was very nice , it is big and couldn't able to put it into the mouth in once. hahah, quite nice overall just then it is a bit greasy when finish it.
BABOON GREEN SALAD - for those we love to get salad for lunch , this is the right choice, but for me the sos was a little bit too much. Ya, the chicken nuggets are nice and of course the pork bacons!

Two person lunch ,less than rm50 still not bad. =)

2nd Place : Calanthe Art Cafe
Address : No,11 , Jalan Hang Kasturi, 75200 Melaka (Jonker Street)
Opening House : 8.30 a.m. - 11.00 p.m.

p.s : For the coffee lover ! You must come! and your parents might love this cafe too!

this tv is actually is a fish tank!
It is a very special cafe.
They have 13 types of states coffee, different taste different coffee.

The most HOMIE feel cafe that I ever visit.

 What we had ordered :
Perak Coffee (cold)
Modern White coffee with special recipe creating smooth sensation.
RM5.85

This is one of my RECOMMENDATION !
Green Tea coffee (hot)
RM8.25
* this is under the category in The Art of Coffee.

this is part of the decoration, they pasted all the photos around.

You can even choose a seats that is decorated like a  home.

The service was good but the waitress are very busy, I shouldn't get to ask which coffee or which dessert is nice and more about the decoration of the whole cafe. I will definitely come back again and bring my mum along , she will love this place i think. While this is a must try cafe when you come to Malacca, the price are cheap and reasonable. I can see a lot of office lady and even the tourists love to visit this place.

I apologize if I have any grammar mistakes on my posts in this blog and you can correct me if i had given the wrong info of the address too.

Ilovecoffee.how about you?
And I would like to hear from you all about which cafe is nice and where are they.

The Valentines' day Gift For Boyfriend.

The Valentines' day Gift For Boyfriend.
The last post of what I had prepared for the Valentines'Day.
hmm actually I had thinking for what to buy for my special one for like one months?? HAHA
I even had a list of what to buy for boyfie.
-wallet
-polo shirt
-Gshock
-headphones
- ..... etc
For me these are quite mainstream or this is what normally a girl will buy for her boy. What I am thinking was, trying to get something special for him so that he will keep it right. Actually we do not need to spend so much to get something expensive for your love ones, to show how much love you have for them. For me, something that is hand-made, DIY or even hand writing cards are always got my heart! Something that you do it yourself will always bring out the most meaning of your love.

*Few years ago, I went to a camp and I was the leader of the group, we had real fun during the activities and on the last day of the camp, the groupmates gave me the pirate-ship which was made by the play-doh and mounting board, the pirate ship was made by all of us and that's memorable part, and I really love the pirate ship.
*Last year, my boyfie made a so called beach by himself, there are a couple sitting on the swings on the beach, so sweet of him. I can see the details of the swings , how he wrapped them. Even there are sand on them. I love it so much.

I keep all of them until today.

Questions : What should I buy for my boyfriend?

Every girlfriends, has this problem >.<
For me i think the boys love something practical, straight forward like the headphone, electronic stuff , or maybe A CAR! hahaha some guys love toys too, Gundam , Animation dolls?
I think they would prefer something that they can have fun on them , something that are useless or something they can interactive with.
Go through some research , watch the youtube videos, go around the malls and of course get to know what he loves or what he prefer before you buy something.

But I am sure He will love what you buy for them if you really spend some time and some effort on the presents.

So, WHAT i had prepared for HIM <3 ?

TA-DA~

LEGO- NINJAGO collections
Things we need :
a glass bottle with the papers
& of course the lego set

My idea was get the LEGO Ninga done and get one of the lego man into the glass.
This is effort-able for the youngsters and for those LEGO-lovers.
You can get it at any TOYs Store, I bought this from TOYRUS, maybe you can find more LEGO sets at the mall like Parkson, AEON, the toy departments.
I think this is a good idea as a present, we can build it and to display them in your collection cupboard . Or even  you can build them into the other kind of design, its up to your creativity !

I do not  have any ideas on what am I building and I built a Plan!

Guess what? The LegoMan with BLACK face! NINJA~!!

even I made it like a car. hahah

So Finally,I can see what I am doing for the whole mid night! =D

Hi there NINGA
I am DONE! hey hey hey! Its time to get some photo shooting of the Model! hiak hiak hiak, Off the light !
What do you need?
